ITA tae kwon do is the International Tae kwon do Association founded in 1974 by Grandmaster James S. Benko, an American 9th dan tae kwon do grandmaster.

The ITA style prides itself in being a non-political organization focused solely on the art of tae kwon do.

ITA schools are standardized in their promotion requirements and curriculum. They utilize the original 24 Chang Hun forms of the Oh Do Kwan with no modifications or variations.

The ITA has 9 levels of rank for colored belts.
