Pal gwe poomse continue to become more difficult and more beautiful in execution. Every pal gwe form teaches the contradictory concepts of um-yang (yin-yang in Chinese). The idea that everything has an opposite

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Basic physics.

Opposites meet and depart from each other according to the laws of the universe.

Palgwe poomse is taught to colored belt students to help them grow in their training.

They serve to introduce students to techniques and philosophy of the supreme ultimate. Two imposing forces in perfect balance bringing harmony to the universe.
